Like a swimmer who has forgotten how to swim, we become tense, awkward and out of our depth when finding ourselves in deep water. We begin to lash out here and there franticly in the illusory hope of finding a solid foothold immersed as we are in an overwhelming sea of water. And of course we all sense this at the very core of our being …. so most of us subconsciously ensure we never find ourselves having to swim, ever again.
